The Book
As a worship pastor of 18 years, Jason looked for resources to help followers of Jesus move worship beyond Sunday mornings, but they were few and far between. Transitions is the resource he always wanted for his church. Instead of focusing exclusively on the music, Jason set out to teach worshippers about why we worship. That endeavor led to this project. The book is a daily devotional consisting of 50 short chapters in which each chapter ends in four or five song suggestions that you can use to focus your heart on Jesus. The video above is a dramatization of one of the chapters in Transitions to give you an idea of what the book is all about. The Author Jason Heim is on staff at the Narrow Road Church in Enola, Pennsylvania serving in church multiplication ministries. Jason and his wife Leah, with their six children, lead a Missional Community at their home in Levittown, Pennsylvania and are promoting Missional Ministry through the Evangelical Free Church of America. Jason served as a youth and worship pastor for 18 years. Jason graduated from Messiah College where he majored in Speech Communications and minored in Church Music. He received his Masters of Divinity from Bethel Seminary of the East.
